Kitchen Cabinet Redooring

We replace the existing outdated door and drawer styles with new door and drawer faces and leave the existing cabinet faces as-is. We then do an enamel urethane process to the existing boxes and new door and drawer face.

The redooring process also means we will install new hinges. We offer regular demountable hinges or interior soft close hinges in our refacing process. This costs less than a full reface because we do not have to skin the boxes. This is most desirable when you want a colored cabinet instead of a stained cabinet.

Kitchen cabinet refacing is a process of adding new cabinet doors and cabinet drawer faces to your existing cabinets and skinning the face of the existing boxes with a skin of the same type of wood as the new doors.

Do you want to update your honey oak cabinets to walnut? Kitchens Redefined can add new walnut doors in any style, skin the face of your cabinets in a walnut wood veneer, and stain the veneer to a color of your choice. After that, we add on new hinges or hardware. The process is quick, mess-free, and much more affordable and your kitchen will look brand new!

Because we finish the door and cabinet faces, and they are not refinished in a plant, we are able to match or stain any color you desire.     Step 1: Free Design Consultation

    After you call or submit a form through out website to set up your initial, in-home consultation, we will meet with you in your kitchen and listen attentively to go through your needs and go through recommendations we may have.

    Step 2: Meeting at Showroom

    We will then have a second meeting to help you visualize your kitchens potential, introduce you to the different types of product available, and review your personalized proposal.

    Step 3: Sign-On Process

    Step 4: Sample Creation

    We will present you with samples of a cabinet drawer or door face redoored or refaced to your liking, color preferences, etc.

    Step 5: Cover and Protect

    We take care of your home and want to leave you with a mess-free project while we work. Our first step is to cover countertops, backsplashes, and floors to protect prior to starting any work on the cabinet redoor or refinish. We take care of your kitchen as if it were our own.

    Step 6: Remove Cabinet Doors and Drawer Faces

    Next we remove existing cabinet door and drawer faces and do any hinge fill necessary to prepare for new door and drawer faces and interior hidden hinges.

    We reface, repaint, stain and refinish wood cabinets to the desired color and result we determined in our design meeting.
